Your hosts:

Masako:

I am Japanese-American, born in California. I speak English, am relatively fluent in Spanish, with a bit of Japanese thrown in.

My dream of owning a unique and magical BnB is coming true! I knew that in my retirement, I was not one to sit on a beach all day. Meeting people from all over and cooking is something that I have always been drawn to.

I fell in love with Huatulco my first visit here in 2019. The people are so friendly and relaxed. The food was amazing, the beaches warm and clean, and the feeling of safety was like no other place I’d ever been. When I was shown the house, I knew we had come home!

I have put my many years of event planning, catering, artwork, and service/hospitality background into my efforts to make this an experience for guests, not just a place to stay. I hope you will come to visit to have a taste (my interpretation) of the Mayan culture!

Enrique:

I am Mexican-American, born in Mexico City. I speak Spanish, am relatively fluent in English, and like to sing in the Mexican ranchera style.

I always thought I would retire in a tropical beach area and here I am! I still can’t believe that I have a chance to live in such an amazing place. The warm waters, the kind & welcoming native people, the tranquil atmosphere, and THE FOOD! All just a few minutes walk from the villa.

I really look forward to having you in our home and to share a bit of my native culture with you! Did I mention the food…?
